EXP3: Developed Crysis Wars Environment (Real Time Images)

The idea of the POWER is that it is the ability to control or/and change people or things. I focus on the design of the bridge that influences all other element in this environment. The design of the bridge was constructed of two fundamental shapes that create the most object in this world, straight line and curve to represent the common power that exist in the society which is power of media and publicity.

"The TWO Office Spaces"

Miranda Kerr's Office Space

The two office spaces are the reflection of the bridge. The design of the offices was taken from the bridge to convey the influences that shape their design. Kerr’s office inherits the “straight line” shape from the bridge. It represents the modern and simple style which is reflects on Kerr’s personality and style. The key idea is that the bridge controls the design of the office as the power shape individual’s personality and style.

Angela Markel's Office Space

Continuing on the same idea, the design of Markel’s office was taken “curving line” shape from the bridge. It was kept to be a simple office as I want to make it formal to suite Markel’s style. Focusing on the position of the two offices as they sit at the both end of the bridge it shows that power is transform from the centre and spread into both directions and influence elements that surround it.

"The Meeting Point - Dinning Area"

The meeting area is where Kerr and Markel share their experiences of being influenced by the power of media and people. As they are both the people that publicity are focusing on therefore this power would be significant factor that shape their personality and style. The table design is the combination of straight line and curve to show the influence from the bridge. Also sit right in the middle between the two spaces.

"The TWO Elevators"

The elevator transforms all of the changes and influences that Kerr and Markel being affected by the power as they will be exchanged and share by the two clients. The design of the elevator then inherited from the design of the office base on the straight line and curve shapes. The elevators also move parallel to the bridge as it is the reflection of the bridge that symbolize the “power” that effect Kerr and Markel.

EXP3: Final Draft Crysis Wars Environment (Real Time Images)

These are the final draft of my Crysis Wars Environment. In this draft version I came up with the final design for the landscape and how the offices space being place. I also create the pathway for the elevators. The design of the pathway is also kept to be inherited the design from the bridge which has the straight and curving approach into the model. This is to show the idea of how the power from the bridge influence all of the element in this scence, reflecting and support the idea of the "power" that is the ability to control people or things.(Shaping the design of the pathway)

EXP3: Draft Crysis Wars Environment

In this draft version I was experimenting on placing the office space in different position and see the their relationship with the valley....
1st the office spaces being placed at the both end of the bridge....
2nd Kerr's office is placed at the end of the bridge and Markel's is place at the middle of the bridge. (This idea seem to be poorly done. Since it doesnt support the idea of power that I was trying to show and also doesnt have connection to the landscape.)

EXP3: Full Draft (SketchUp)

This is the full draft version of my model in SketchUp...

The draft contain the bridge, two office spaces,two elevators and dinning table in meeting spot....

The two office spaces are being place in the bridge at the end of both side this is to show the idea of the powe that expand to both side of the bridge and go to the office spaces.

After the the texture being applied.....

The dinning table, meeting point is located under the shelter next to the bridge. ( The position of the meeting point will be adjust later on when export model in to the Crysis War environment)

EXP3: Applying textures

There are 5 main different textures that are being applied into my model....
Linear Movement Texture
Rotational Movement Texture

The kinear and rotaitonal textures are applied into the bridge as the bridge allow for the linear movement and the part of rotation movement. Also the similar in shape and style.

Omnidirectional Movement Texture
The omnidirectional texture is applied onto Angela Markel's office as to symbolise the power that comes from all the directional in surrounded environment reflecting on the idea of power that Markel can be inflenced by people and media power around her.
Uniform Movement Texture

Markel's evelvator is applied by the uniform texture as the elevator is moving in uniform movement (same acceration and speed)

Omnidirectional Movement Texture

The texture that also represent the derection of the power that going into the object is represented by omnidirectional texture as the it is being applied to Mirranda Kerr's office showing the affection of power from different direction i.e. surrounded environdment (people and media power)

Linear Movement Texture

The texture is applied on Kerr's elevator to show the movement of the elevator in linear straight line.
